Welcome to the Reiki Centre in Sussex and London
The Reiki Centre was founded in 1992 and is probably the oldest and best established centre for Reiki Training and Treatments in the UK.
The founder and principal teacher of The Reiki Centre is Hjalmar Jonsson.
As a Reiki Master he now has over twenty years experience of teaching in London, Surrey, Sussex and various other parts the country.
He was introduced to Reiki in 1988 in Iceland and attended a First Degree course
in 1989 with American Reiki Master Paula Horan, author of "Empowerment Through Reiki",
amongst other books, was attuned to the Second Degree in 1990 by Icelandic Reiki
Master Gudrun Oladottir, who trained with Paula Horan, and he then trained as a Reiki
Master / Teacher during 1991 with English Reiki Master Charmian Winser, author of
"Reiki -
At the Reiki Centre we are traditional Reiki Masters, teaching the original Usui System of Natural Healing, "Usui Shiki Ryoho", as near as possible to the way it was presented to the western world by Reiki Master Hawayo Takata, who learnt it in Japan in the early 1930s.
We honour the beauty in the simplicity of Reiki, add nothing and leave nothing out.
